Sandi was a student at Midlands Technical College taking classes in framing, estimating, and other construction courses. Sandi was asked to participate on the construction program advisory board. As an “expert” in the field she was an enormous part of the success of the program helping Greg Lee to define the program curricula. The advisory board identified the attributes/skills they needed in a potential employee in the positions of superintendent/ project manager such as basic estimating, excel, and take off skills. Sandi has been a part of the curriculum reviews for the last five years. The goal is to give the students all the skills they need to begin a new career making them a great hire.

This year (2013) she was asked to provide the same professional advice to Swansea High School. Her role will be advising them on how to set up a successful program for the teens.

She continues to make a positive contribution as a business person to the education and future success of the young people by sharing her knowledge.
